During 2 weeks of camp, our oldest campers (grades 7-9) will practice and perform the Disney classic, The Jungle Book KIDS.  Up Stages students will take on lead roles, learn how to embody physically complex characters, and explore more advanced movement/choreography as they bring their acting skills to the next level.  They will also learn about leadership as they are joined by our youngest campers in Beginning Stages for the final performance.  The Up Stages camp provides many opportunities for focused, small group work, personalized attention, and elevated character development.

During this 2 week long camp, our 4-6th grade campers will learn to take the lead this year as they stage our 2026 Summer Arts Stages Touring Show: The Lion King KIDS!  This fun, exciting retelling of the beloved Disney classic features all your favorite characters and songs from “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” to “Hakuna Matata” – but is condensed to 45 minutes, making it the perfect challenge for our campers.  In addition to the show, students participate in drama games, arts and crafts, and movement/dance workshops.  It is sure to be an experience they’ll never forget!

• Performance: Friday, June 16th at 7:00 p.m.

Grow, learn, and play as part of this wonderful 5-day Stages experience!  Beginning Stages is designed with young learners in mind, helping them navigate their first stage experiences in a fun and safe environment.  Through games, songs, dance, and crafts, campers entering grades 1-3 learn all about putting on a show, encouraged and supported by our team of skilled collegiate counselors.  At the end of the week, Beginning Stagers will take the stage, joining the Up Stages campers (grades 7-9) in this year’s performance: The Jungle Book KIDS!  Their role in the ensemble (with a few featured songs) gives them a stress-free way to shine, while also inspiring them as they watch their older cast mates take on larger roles.  We cannot wait to greet the youngest members of our Stages family!
